Upcoming Expat Expo Events Geneva and Lucerne
One of the main activities of Democrats Abroad is helping Americans exercise their right to vote. We book a stand at the popular Expat Expo fairs around the country to make sure Americans recently arrived in Switzerland know how to register to vote from abroad and answer questions about getting your absentee ballot and more. This year, we were at the Zug, Basel and Zurich fairs and met tons of great folks excited about Democrats Abroad and grateful to know how to vote. There are 2 more fairs left this year. We hope to see you at one of them.
Geneva Expat Expo, Sunday October 2nd at Palexpo, 11am-5pm
Lucerne Expat Expo, Sunday November 6th at Museum of Transport, 11am-5pm.
Have some free time and want to help out? We are looking for volunteers to take an hour or two shift at our stand. What a great way to also gather valuable training on registering voters so you can help bring in votes for President Obama and a Democrat-lead Congress in November 2012!
