Zurich Election Night and Breakfast

Dear Democrats Abroad Member,

We are pleased to announce several events taking place in Zurich to watch the U.S. Election returns. Please join us for the all night election party at Gemeinschaftszentrum Riesbach, open to the public, free of charge and also to a breakfast event on Nov 7^th with the Swiss-American Chamber of Commerce. Details for both events follow:

Election Night Party

U.S. Election Night Party in Zurich, co-hosted by Democrats Abroad Zurich and SP Zurich

Date: 6 November 2012

Doors open at 10:00pm - going on through the night.

Where: Gemeinschaftszentrum Riesbach, Seefeldstrasse 93, 8008 Zurich

Admission: Free. No registration required.

All Evening: Bar and snacks as well as live streaming of the most popular news channels on big screen screens

10:00 pm:  Warm Up: Charles Lewinsky, author and screenwriter

10:45 pm:  Round Table Discussion - Looking back and looking forward with:

- Felix Gutzwiller, congressman FDP, member of the foreign policy commission;

- Roland Popp, Sr. Researcher, Center for Security Studies, ETH Zurich;

- Peter Voegeli, Ex-USA correspondent from Swiss Radio DRS, moderator ''Echo of (our) Time'';

- Renee Rousseau: Chair Democrats Abroad Zurich;

- Martin Naef: National Congressman SP, member of the foreign policy commission.

01:00 am: Round Table - USA: Backwards or Forward with:

- Martin Gasser, Lawyer, Think Tank Foraus (Forum Foreign policy);

6:30 am: Political Breakfast: expert discuss the incoming results and what affect they will have.

U.S. Elections Breakfast

The Swiss-American Chamber of Commerce is holding a U.S. Presidential Elections Breakfast in cooperation with Democrats Abroad and other American and Swiss organizations. This will take place at the Widder Hotel in Zurich from 6am to 9am on Wednesday November 7^th. Cost CHF 45. Registration required by November 5^th.
