Phone Banking Training and Calling 24-25 Sept. in Geneva

Phone Banking Drives to Swing State Voters in Switzerland are under way through the end of September. Come get trained and start calling.

What you need: Volunteers are asked to come with their cell phones or laptop with Skype Out account and make calls. If you have time to volunteer but your resources for donating calls for Democrats Abroad are limited, we have created several Skype Out accounts which you can use to make calls from your laptop – so students – please sign up! Prefer to make calls from the quiet of your home, come get the training only and take home a call sheet to work on over the course of the week.

We have identified over 500 of our members in Switzerland who vote from critical swing states and have not yet registered to vote in 2012. Our mission is clear. Let’s make sure they all get an absentee ballot before it’s too late. Key swing states of Ohio, Colorado, Florida and Pennsylvania all have registration deadlines on October 9^th! That means the Federal Post Card Application (FPCA: registration and absentee ballot request form) must be mailed from Switzerland by the end of this month!
