Volunteer Training and Voter Registration

As we head into the final 2 months before the U.S. elections, we have 2 plans of action:
1. Our Goal: Register all Americans in our community to vote and help them make sure they receive their absentee ballot.
2. Build a community of organizers and volunteers to accomplish this goal.

In Geneva we are kicking off the end of the summer with a Call to Action event on Wednesday 22 August.
Where: The Clubhouse, Rue Philippe Plantamour 25, 1201 Geneva (Paquis)
When: Aug 22nd, 5:30pm - 7:00pm. Drop by anytime.
Give us a heads up you're coming or questions:

Have you been receiving our messages about requesting your absentee ballot via but not feeling 100% sure if you have filled in the forms correctly or have a question before you put it in the mail? Come and get in person help! We'll be set up with a laptop and printer, envelopes and stamps so your registration form can be put in the mailbox!

Do you want to get involved in the campaign? Help President Obama win the election? We need outstanding organizers who can commit chunks of time for the next 2 months to coordinate our campaign activity. Come out and find out more. Meet other volunteers. Let's get organized together and move FORWARD!

You want to volunteer but have a limited amount of time? We are rolling out voter registration drives in offices, university campuses, Expat Expo fairs and need trained volunteers. Get trained to register voters so we can count on you when we need you most!

Your more comfortable on the phone or have time in the evening to make calls from home? Our goal is to call all our members from targeted swing states and make sure they have requested their absentee ballot for 2012. We need you!! We'll give you a call sheet of 20 names, a script and tools to phone bank effectively. Come find out more on August 22nd and go home with a list of names to start calling on your own time from home. Or sign up to host a phone banking session in your home or join an organized group session.
