What: The purpose of this event will be 2-fold. First, we will briefly address local housekeeping issues such as goals of the group going into the 2012 election year and share ideas for future events. In addition we will discuss the upcoming local DACH Zurich Chapter elections! If you are interested in being more involved in the leadership activities of the group then come to this meeting to learn more about potential opportunities. We are looking to elect 2 people to serve as the Chapter Chair and Secretary/Treasury.
Second we'll have a more topical discussion on developments in the US economy. (i.e. debt-ceiling issue and political paralysis; potential double-dip recession; and what the Obama Administration plans to do about creating jobs in the coming months).
All are welcome! If the weather is nice, we'll be at an outdoor patio at one of the larger tables. Look for something Americana (Obama tshirt, flag, etc. to identify the group). This will be casual, so whether you have 10 min or an hour, swing by and chat with the group. Also be sure to find out about how to win 2 tickets to Oktoberfest in Munich!
