CALL for CANDIDATES: DEMOCRATS ABROAD SWITZERLAND ELECTIONS
Democrats Abroad Switzerland will be electing a new Executive Committee in March 2011
The following positions are to be filled:
Chair, Vice-Chair, Treasurer, Secretary, Counsel and 2 Members-at-Large
If you are interested in running or have questions, please notify Nominating Committee Chair, Michael Copping by email to: ElectionsDACH@gmail.com no later than 19 February, 2011.
Please indicate the position for which you are running or for which you are nominating a candidate. Candidate statements of 150 words maximum are welcome and will be published with a list of candidates by March 2nd, 2011.
Elections will be held at the Democrats Abroad Switzerland Annual General Meeting on the afternoon of Sunday 27 March 2011 in Nyon (Vaud). Please save the date! Agenda and address will be communicated next month.
The elections will be conducted in accordance with DA Switzerland bylaws: http://www.democratsabroad.org/group/switzerland. The bylaws permit nominations from the floor at the election meeting. You will find more details about the roles and responsibilities of the Executive Committee in our bylaws as well as the election process.
We are getting the team together for 2012. Why not make your New Year resolution to get more involved with Dems Abroad!
